Join me at the atelier of Adelle Stoll.

Adelle is an accomplished designer and leatherworker in her own right and she’s been eager to bring this workshop to her Sonoma community with the addition of wine tasting and local snacks. I’m so pleased it’s finally happening!

We'll spend the morning designing and confirming patterns before diving into the many steps of the sandalmaking process. Ultimately you’ll come away with a pair of dream sandals that you yourself have made! The possibilities are endless, as long as your design is open-toe and open-heel. Some variables to play with include leather thickness, optional hardware/buckles, heel height, strap layout, sole shape, and colors. I’ll bring many different colors to choose from, but feel free to email me if you have your heart set on a certain color.

The sandals will be ready-to-wear at end of day, with only 1 task for you to do on your own: You will bring them to a cobbler to have the edges finished (sanded). This usually costs about $20, and is a common practice for all cobblers (aka hard to mess up). This allows us more time to work on the design and assembly during our day together!

No need to pack a lunch. For this class, Adelle is arranging a wine tasting with snacks from local purveyors for our group to experience the complete wine country experience!

Minimum group size is 3 people, Maximum group size is 6. If you have a group that is larger than the remaining spots in this class, I can open up a class on Sunday June 2.

**Consider wearing easy on/off shoes for our day of working with our feet. It might also be a good idea to bring water, snacks, and reading glasses (if you use them they might help you see what you’re cutting!)
