Join me at MIGHTY MIGHTY studio in Oakland!

We'll spend a whole day learning the steps of sandal-making: you will design, fit, and assemble a pair of dream sandals for your own feet. The design possibilities are endless, as long as your idea is open-toe and open-heel. I provide a ton of patterns and ideas, feel free to peek at shoes made in past classes here. Some variables to play with include hardware, heel height, strap layout, sole shape, and color. I currently have A LOT of colors to choose from, email me (rachelpeanutbutter at gmail) to make sure I bring the color you want to work with.

This is a great workshop if your feet are unique: wide, narrow, different sizes, bunions, etc. Feel free to build flats with rubber soles, or heeled sandals with leather soles and stacked leather heels!

At the end of day, I’ll have my sander to finish the edges of the sandals. You are welcome to try your hand at it, or watch me!
