Join me at THE EARTH + SKY ~ STORE + STUDIO in Sonoma, CA

We'll spend a whole day learning the steps of sandal-making: you will design, fit, and assemble a pair of dream sandals for your own feet. The design possibilities are endless, as long as your idea is open-toe and open-heel. I provide a ton of patterns and ideas, feel free to peek at shoes made in past classes here. Some variables to play with include hardware, heel height, strap layout, sole shape, and color. I’ll bring along many colors to choose from, email me (rachelpeanutbutter at gmail) to make sure I bring the color you want to work with.

This is a great workshop if your feet are unique: wide, narrow, different sizes, bunions, etc. Feel free to build flats with rubber soles, or heeled sandals with leather soles and stacked leather heels!

Saturday AUGUST 15, 10am-5:30ish (with a break for lunch at 1ish)

FYI: The sandals will be complete and wearable by end-of-day, but I ask that you take them to a cobbler (any shoe repair spot) anytime in the proceeding weeks to have the edges sanded/finished. This usually costs about $25 so I have discounted the class by $50. Having this done separately allows us more time for designing and building together.
