My how-to book, published in April 2021, is a complete introduction to making your own footwear at home.

Back when I was starting to make my own shoes, the only books I could find were from the 70’s and out of print. An update was long overdue— so I had to make one! In it, I focus on my first love: sandals. The book covers the basic steps of sandalmaking and my own simplified technique for shoemaking. It includes 14 step-by-step projects, each with traceable fold-out patterns. Also includes materials and sourcing notes to help you gather what you’ll need to start out. BTW, there is no need for specialized machinery!
