MULE / SLIDES VIDEO + SOURCING LISTS

Sale Price:$5.00 Original Price:$40.00

I’ve finally made an 80-min video showing my simplified shoemaking process.

I show each step as I make leather slides (aka Mules) with leather uppers, heavy leather outsoles, and stacked leather heels. This is a simpler approach to making shoes than the more traditional process of lasting uppers onto custom-made shoe forms. My process shows how to wet-last veg-tan leather onto shoe-forms (lasts), and then use the resulting shapes to create the right fit for your unique feet. This way the lasts don’t need to be 100% loyal to your feet (meaning you can use vintage lasts, or a pair of lasts that are a bit smaller or larger than your feet, no problem!) In this video I also show you how to do the midsole process (the act of using leather inserts the even-out the layers under-foot). After following along and making your very own shoes/mules, you should be able to use the techniques shown here to make Any design of shoes you wish!

To view you have 2 options: you can purchase my new MULE / SLIDES KIT (and i’ll share the link + password for the video) or you can purchase the video + sourcing notes below and gather the tools + materials on your own. (links to where you can buy items online as well as in-person are listed).

**This video is intended for just 1 person (you) to view as many times as needed. Please don't share this link or password with others as this is intended as a stand-in for my teaching practice during Covid. If a friend wants to make sandals with you, please request that they purchase the video separately. Thanks for your understanding!**

Im very proud of this video and happy to share it with you <3

**if at any time in the future your connection to the video is somehow broken, just email me and ill happily send you a renewed link+
